Faizah Saadmim
President & Editor-in-Chief

Faizah is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, studying global health and chemistry. She joined UnEarthed because of its mission to actively engage the students of the Philadelphia community and because she loves teaching children. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants with her friends, watching movies, and traveling.

Sofia Cavicchia
VP Internal Operations

Sofia is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences. She joined UnEarthed because it was the perfect opportunity to combine her love for creativity and community. In her free time, Sofia loves exploring center city, shooting film, and playing the guitar.

VP External Operations

Alhena Islam is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Biology with a concentration in Molecular Biology. She joined UnEarthed because she loves working and interacting with children and wants to make academic materials such as, our magazine, readily available to students within the community. In her free time, she enjoys bullet journaling, collecting stationery, and watching Korean dramas.

Richa is a senior in SEAS studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. She loves UnEarthed because it allows her to use her creativity and love of science to serve her community. In her free time, she likes to read, play tennis, and explore Philadelphia with friends!

Julia Van Lare is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying public health. She joined UnEarthed because of her childhood love of fun history and science facts. Julia also loves reading, photography, and baking.

Angela is a senior in SEAS studying Bioengineering. She joined UnEarthed because she loved reading magazines like Discover and National Geographic as a kid and wanted to bring that experience to others. In her free time, she likes to read, draw, and watch movies on Disney+.

Allaha Mohiby is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences, studying Neuroscience. In her free time, Allaha enjoys exploring Philadelphia with friends, watching Netflix and picking up a new book to read.

Kate Paik is a sophomore in SEAS studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Kate joined UnEarthed because she enjoys sharing her love for science with elementary students. In her free time, she loves to play Overcooked! with her friends, watch k-dramas, and explore cute dessert shops.
