Faizah Saadmin
VP Internal Operations

Emily is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences, studying biochemistry and planning to pursue medicine. Emily loves to teach children and inspire their curiosity in science and history. In her free time, she loves cooking with her Instant Pot, running on Locust Walk, and exploring Philadelphia.

Faizah is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, studying global health and chemistry. She joined UnEarthed because of its mission to actively engage the students of the Philadelphia community and because she loves teaching children. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants with her friends, watching movies, and traveling.

VP External Operations

Alhena Islam is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Biology with a concentration in Molecular Biology. She joined UnEarthed because she loves working and interacting with children and wants to make academic materials such as, our magazine, readily available to students within the community. In her free time, she enjoys bullet journaling, collecting stationery, and watching Korean dramas.

Sam is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Science studying Economics. She loves UnEarthed as it allows her to share her love of reading and enthusiasm about learning with the students who read the magazine. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Philadelphia restaurant scene, baking for her friends and family, running outdoors and, of course, reading!

Angela is a sophomore in SEAS studying Bioengineering. She joined UnEarthed because she loved reading magazines like Discover and National Geographic as a kid and wanted to bring that experience to others. In her free time, she likes to read, draw, and watch movies on Disney +.
